Argos Etchings and Paintings

 
1910 Sturges press at the etching studio.
 

Argos exhibits local Santa Fe artists, with a specialty in the 500 year old art of etching. Argos has an active etching studio where local artists meet to produce their work. Argos teaches etching to local artists and exhibits both recent and historical examples of intaglio printmaking. Argos is open to the public, who can view the intaglio process as artists pull limited edition prints on the 1910 Sturges press. Argos is at the top of Canyon Road, the historical home of galleries and artists in Santa Fe.

Hours Open: 10:00-5:30 all days except Tuesday; call ahead to view etching demonstrations.
