An oasis on the High Road, Art for the Heart is a garden, a studio gallery and an eclectic art experience. Home of UpCycled Fashion and more. (directly across from Peñasco Post Office, downstairs and outback of Walking Woman Gallery)
Art for the Heart's mission is to foster health through creativity. Thursdays are Hersdays, potluck lunch and women's art group, Fridays are a free art day, Saturdays - call for special monthly workshop schedule, Sundays - open house. Hours Thursday - Sunday 11 - 5 pm (winter hours 11-4 pm, some Saturdays we will be closed to attend other art groups (call first) 575-587-0202, 575-587-2889 (at studio) cell 505-417-0155
Drop-ins are always welcome and there is always something interesting to see and do. We support and teach traditional & innovative arts and show the work of many local artists. On the NM Fiber Arts Trail, our newest project is UpCycled Fashion (www.upcycledfashion.com)
