Aztec Visitor Center
The Aztec Visitor Center functions as a visitor information and marketing center for guests traveling and staying in Aztec and the greater vicinity. Originally operated by the State of New Mexico Tourism Department, the Aztec Visitor Center is now owned and operated by the city of Aztec.
The Visitor Center proudly sports a decorative metal ceiling, as well as walls adorned with local art from area artists (also available for purchase). In addition to a plethora of free tourist information and brochures, the Aztec Visitor Center is proud to offer the following amenities to its guests:
- Extensive library of books on the Four Corners region to include: travel, culture, history, art, and genealogy.
- Free use of a public computer for accessing email and internet.
- Personal assistance with itinerary planning.
- Visitor Center store for purchasing postcards and other travel mementos.
- Community park with grass, picnic area, and a play area for children, adults, and furry friends.
- Free wi-fi available in the parking lot for those visitors stopping by after hours.
- Clean restrooms
Seasons Open: Year-round
Hours Open: June-September: M-Sat, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and October-May: T-Sat, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fees: Free
The Visitor Center and portions of the park (picnic area) are ADA accessible.
Pets are allowed in the park, please pick up after your pets and keep pets on leash when around other people and animals.
