We are located on 34 acres just south of Cortez, CO with beautiful views of the Sleeping Ute Mountain to the west and the 1500 foot mesa to the rear. There is a lovely, private courtyard and a rear patio which are surrounded by gardens. The canal walk behind the property has beautiful views of the Sleeping Ute mountain, Lone Cone peak and the La Plata mountains. The guest house is centrally located and offers an ideal base for exploration of the areas ruins, southwest canyon country as well as mountain hikes and points of interest.

Bed and Breakfast Style

Warm touches have been used throughout the cottage such as walnut floors and a copper trimmed gas fireplace as well as interesting art and textiles, both local and international. There is an extensive library from our personal collection that includes books about Mesa Verde and other ancestral puebloan ruins, local history and native flora and fauna. A large number of fiction and non-fiction titles are included to curl up with in the evening.  More than 150 DVDs and music CDs are also provided for your enjoyment.

There is so much to see in our area that many guests have returned the next year to continue their explorations.We can advise you on itineraries or places to visit based on your interests and the overall time you are able to spend in the area.
