Canon del Rio Bed and Breakfast and Spa
Our adobe accommodations and spa feature six authentic Native american appointed rooms surrounding a courtyard with a fish pond and peach trees. Our enclosed outdoor hot tub looks out to the mesas beyond and our warm weather pool. The new spa has two separate massage rooms with full bath facilities. Canon del Rio features gourmet breakfasts as noted by the NY TIMES. Canon del Rio is set on 6 1/2 acres nestled in the Jemez Valley between 2 mesas on Scenic Byway Hwy 4.. We are between Los Alamos and Bernalillo just one hour from downtown Albuquerque. The village plaza is just north of us and is within a short hiking distance on Hwy 4. Our property is on the Jemez River, and there are paths to and from it for a great meditation spot, as well as, fishing.
Canon del Rio has a large common room used for breakfasts and gatherings. There are comfortable seatings based around the adobe Kiva fireplace and the 52" TV. Additional spots for sitting are around the pool in warm weather and a meditation spot set in our grassy knoll between the river and inn.
