Casa Blanca Guest House is an historic adobe, built in the late 1800's, and probably one of the oldest residents in Jemez Springs. The house has vigas, kiva fireplace, and thick expressive walls. The house faces terraced gardens, fed by another historic feature--an acequia--that runs all the way through our small village. Towering cottonwoods line the acequia, which waters the fruit tree, vegetable gradens, and flower beds for our guests' enjoyment. An events patio is also available for small gatherings of 25 people. Seating and hammocks are located throughout the secluded yard. The Garden Cottage, a renovated well house, is hidden in the corner of the terraced yard. It is only 20 feet from the Jemez River. Guests can sleep to the sound of running water. Jemez Mountain Pottery is on the property, too. It features hand-make pottery, sculpture, and Raku pieces. This is original work made by Linda Vozar Sweet.

Lodging Style and Amenities

The style for both places is decorated in the New Mexico aesthetic, wedded with the creative eclecticism of the proprieter, Roger Sweet. The guest house offers a completely equipped kitchen, and bath with all linens, a queen bed in master bedroom, and two single beds in the second bedroom. Others amenities are CD player, Wi-Fi, unlimited domestic phone calls, gas grill, piano, and guitar, too! The garden cottage has a queen bed, kitchenette with toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, and mini-refrigerator. Coffee and tea are included in both houses.

Seasons Open: Year round!

Locally or Family Owned Business Notes

We are a family owned business for 11 years, and long-time residence in Jemez Springs.

 Eco-Friendly Notes

We recycle at our local reclycing center staffed with volunteers. Guests are welcome to pick from our organic garden and fruit trees in season. Our acequia is a agrarian tradition that dates back several hundred years and has sustained our community in the past, present, and into the future.
