Chimayo Trading And Mercantile
Where History Meets Art in Northern New Mexico
The Chimayo Trading & Mercantile building is more than 100 years old, a local landmark for many decades. The structure has been beautifully restored from the former Martinez Mercantile. We offer an extensive collection of both contemporary and historical pueblo pottery. Our collection of paintings include R. Brownell McGrew, Pablita Velarde, Harrison Begay and R. C. Gorman. We represent some of the finest contemporary Navajo weavers including the Laughing family, Betty Charley, Emily Malone as well as many historic weavings. We also have a large collection of Native American jewelery both contemporary and historic.
We are ADA accessable
