The Cottonwood Steakhouse is a casual, elbows on the table restaurant in Bluff, Utah. The menu features a variety of delicious steaks, buffalo, chicken, fish, and BBQ all grilled to order on an outdoor grill. Steaks are USDA Choice from Colorado and vegetarian entrees are on the menu. The restaurant also offers a variety of homemade pies, as well as other tempting desserts. An extensive beer menu and probably the best wine selection in San Juan County compliments the meal.   

In addition to the excellent food, the Cottonwood Steakhouse features a large, outdoor dining area (seating for 80) shaded by a large cottonwood tree. The outside eating area is a very popular option as the Bluff desert evenings are enchanting. An inside, air-conditioned dining room (seating for 40) will keep  you cool on hot evenings. 

The atmosphere is pioneer/Old West and the napkins are red bandanas that are yours to keep after the dinner.

Patrons commonly include river runners, hikers, motorcyclists, geologists and Europeans. The restaurant is very busy during the peak tourist season of late July, August and September. 

The Cottonwood Steakhouse apple pie was a first place co-winner in the 2010 Bluff Arts Festival  and the smoked brisket took first place in the 2011 Bluff Balloon Festival Southwest Cook-off for local entries.

Seasons Open: April through October

Price Style for this Establishment: Entrees are priced from $14.95 to $25.00 for a full rack of ribs. Entrees include salad, bread and vegetables.
