Mid Day Meal at Osier included in the price of your ticket. A great FEAST of Thanksgiving awaits you at the 1880 town of Osier, Colorado (9,637 feet). Roast Turkey, Cornbread Dressing, Mashed Potatoes and Turkey Gravy, Green Beans and Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce. We've even got Pumpkin Pie! Grandma's Homemade Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes and Brown Gravy, Corn, Peas & Carrots and all meals are served with our delicious fresh from the oven Homemade Yeast Dinner Rolls. On the Lower Level we have a great Salad Bar with a variation of soups and other hot foods. A great variety of desserts are also available including Triple Chocolate Cake, Buttermilk Pie, Coconut Buttermilk Pie, Peach Cobbler and Sugar Free Raisin Cream Pie! Hot Dogs and Mac & Cheese are available for the children as well as anything listed above. We look forward to serving you! Osier Colorado: Original structures at Osier include the red frame 16x24 ft 1880 depot. It once had a platform. The section house was built in 1884 for $1800.00 and is 16x52 ft with two additions, one 16x30 ft and the second, a six-room, 12x22 ft structure. There was an 1880 19x30 ft frame bunk house and a 10x15 ft coal house. To the west of the depot was a 50 ft Keystone turntable, covered by a snowshed, 60 ft in diameter. The turntable was retired in 1927. The water tank was built in 1880 for a cost of $600.00. Various improvements were made to the cattle pens in 1936.

Time Period Represented: The railroad facility is essentially as it was when operating up to the 1960s, with renovations as essential for modern visitor requirements.

Seasons Open: May 28, 2011 thru October 16, 2011

Visitor Fees: There is a fee to ride the train and no fee to tour historic Osier, Colorado.
