31st Annual Dixon Studio Tour: The Dixon Studio Tour is a fall tradition in northern New Mexico. Local artists (about 30) and businesses (about 10) in this small organic farming community open their doors to visitors throughout the weekend. Artists of all stripes, roving musicians, a garlic farmer / writer, and two local wineries take part in the tour. A group show is ongoing at the Community Center throughout the weekend, and the town is home to a restaurant and a small cooperative grocery store. Year after year visitors from all over the country come to Dixon to visit artists' studios, to buy locally made art and crafts, and to enjoy the fall colors along the Rio Grande in a place where cell phones don't work!
