Name of Person: Kathy Park and Henry Woolbert

Dreampower Art Works, located in the village of Jaroso in the San Luis Valley of southern Colorado, promotes the marble and wood sculptures, paintings, and quilts of Kathy Park, and the paintings, drawings, and prints of Henry Woolbert.  We've recently collaborated on a series of sculpted, painted and decorated masks, some of which also included recycled materials. Each September we show our work at the annual Rio Costilla Studio Tour (riocostillastudiotour.org).

We also tend an organic garden with garlic as our cash crop.  We  make healing balms from plants and herbs we grow ourselves.  In the spring  of 2006 we built a 26 foot geodesic dome greenhouse which we purchased as a kit from the amazing Growing Dome folks of Pagosa Springs.  Now we're eating fresh salad greens even in winter!
