Join our outfit for a week or less and work alongside real cowboys ridin' the range, mindin' the herd, and livin' the cowboy life.  We are an authentic Southwestern Colorado working cattle ranch. We raise natural beef and invite you to join us in the saddle as a guest wrangler.  By weeks end you'll feel like an "ol cowhand!"

Imagine skies so full of stars that they glow at night. Savor the warmth of the campfire and that first cup of campfire coffee at sunup as the sun sets the sky ablaze. The air is clean. The earth is fresh with the sweet smell of pine, and the unmistakable scent of wild sage. There's no city smog out here! We're probably a bit biased, but we love livin' the cowboy life.

At East Pines Ranch, you will experience the life of a working cowboy. This is a full-scale operating ranch with cattle to be moved, examined, studied, sorted, shipped, and otherwise managed. During your stay with us, you will be invited to participate in all the activities of the ranch as a member of our team. Ranch activities vary with the seasons and so the time of year you select to visit should reflect your interests. You may be able to share in the excitement of calving time (and maybe a chuckle or two), as you witness nature's plan in action. Newborn calves explore their new surroundings, running and bucking at play, maturing very rapidly, and becoming part of the herd. Or plan your visit when we will be moving the herd.
