Best views of wheeler peak in the state. Amazing hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding in the summer.
32 kilometers of groomed cross-country skiing trails, 18 kilometers of snowshoe trails, 5 kilometers of trails groomed for dogs and their owners. Best view is at the end of Long John and Northwest Passage–the piece de résistance!
Highway 38, 3 1/2 miles from Red River, New Mexico. There are two parking areas at the trailhead.
Approximate Operating Season: Late November (or early December) to the end of March
Commercial Cross Country Ski Area. Trail fee required. No dogs on main trails
