Along side one of the most prominent features in Gallup, NM, the Hogback is home to Gallup's newest adventure venue - Gallup ATV Park.  This park opened in November 2010 after ten years of hard work.  The new park is on approximately 300 acres of city land that has been designated for OHV use. The local club, Red Rock Motorsports Club, Inc will be maintaining the area and promoting events held there. The club tapped into an Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant several years ago and continues to work on improvements and maintainence.

The facility features a 1.2 mile long track and 10 miles of ATV trails. There is currently no fee to ride, however it is bare bones and access is not for the faint of heart.  There are plans in the works to continue to add amenities, expand and hold events.  Being located just off I-40, it is accesible to the traveling public and adds to Gallup reputation as the "Adventure Capital of New Mexico".
