Home of the Laguna Burger
Operating out of an unassuming little gas station/convenience store on the Laguna reservation, this restaurant serves one of the best green chile cheeseburgers in the country. The half-pound beef patty is never frozen and made to order. Fries are never frozen and made from fresh-cut potatoes. The customer service is incredible, and the employees are always friendly.
Hours Open: 6am-10pm every day
Seasons Open: Year-round
Price Style for this Establishment: The burger is $3.99.
Unlike most truck stops these days, Home of the Laguna Burger is owned by a local family. It honors regional cuisine. The employees (and more and more local fans) sport "Is it beef, or is it love?" t-shirts.
Yes, the restaurant is handicapped accessible.
The burger and fries are made fresh right in front of you, which dispells the worry associated with stopping at a fast food joint.
No, pets are not allowed.
