Jemez Springs Bath House

 
The historical Jemez Springs Bath House

The Bath House has 8 oversized individual cement tubs surrounded by shower curtains for your privacy.
The hot mineral water comes straight from the hot spring next door. Some of the water is diverted into holding tanks to cool overnight so that the bather can regulate their bath temperature.

The historic Jemez Springs Bath House built in the mid-1870's is owned & operated by the Village of Jemez Springs.
Under the gazebo is the caldron which holds the hot mineral water from the spring. From here, the mineral water flows directly into the Bath House.

The Bath House is located in the Village Plaza along side of the Jemez River.
The Bath House Gift Shop has gifts, clothing, jewelry & assessories.

Built in the 1870's, the Bath House offers 8 oversized individual private tubs, 4 massage rooms and a wonderful gift shop.

The mineral water issues from the spring at 154-186 degrees and flows directly into the Bath House. Some of the mineral water is diverted into holding tanks to cool overnight so that the bather can regulate the bath temperature.

Walk-ins are always welcome. Reservations are advised for the summer season and holiday weekends.

Recreational Opportunities

The Bath House offers 30 and 60 minute hot spring mineral baths, blanket & herbal wraps and 30, 60 & 90 minute therapeutic massage. The most popular service is the Jemez Package which includes a 30 minute bath, a 30 minute herbal wrap and a 60 minute massage for $105.

24 HOUR CANCELATION POLICY: Credit Card information is required to hold massage reservations. Therefore, should your plans change, please call 24 HOURS PRIOR to your scheduled appointment to avoid charges to your credit card.

Guests are advised to bring their own drinking water and a towel. Drinking water is available for purchase in the gift shop and towels can be rented for $1.

Children under 14 are not allowed in the bath areas.

Seasons Accessible

The Bath House is open year round at 10 a.m. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas days. During the winter months the Bath House may close at 5 p.m. when difficult winter driving conditions exist on Highway 4. Please call ahead for early closures.
