Kelly Place
Kelly Place B&B hosts the McElmo Canyon Research Institute and is an archaeological preserve. Over 25 sites have been documented on the property--including a fully restored kiva and several other kiva and pueblo ruins. Guests follow a self-guided tour of the archaeological sites on the 38 acres and descend into the restored kiva. Guests may hike into Canyons of the Ancients National Monument from here to experience cliff ruins not easily accessed from public trailheads. Archaeologist-guided hikes provide an additional option for learning more about the ancient cultures and ruins. These are available to anyone (not just guests) by prior arrangement.
Hours Open: Daytime

Visitor Fees: Archaeologist-guided hikes are $150 half day, up to 4 people; $235 full day up to 4 people. Additional charge for more people. Must be a guest to explore Kelly Place, but not to engage an archaeologist for a hike.
