Located next to the historic El Santuario Church in Chimayo, NM, Leonas Restaurante has been serving the finest of northern New Mexico cuisine for over 35 years. This unique and spicy cuisine derives from recipes handed down through the generations in the small communities that nestle in the mountains and valleys of northern New Mexico.

In 2009, Leonas Restaurante was the National Award Winner for Best Traditional Pork Tamales. Despite this recognition, the restaurant remains a modest family run business known as much for their casual and friendly atmosphere as their exceptional traditionally prepared cuisine.
