The Colorado Welcome Center in Cortez is your one-stop location for all your southwest trip-planning needs, and it features a well-appointed store operated by the nonprofit Mesa Verde Museum Association. The store stocks books, multimedia products, maps, posters, t-shirts, unique gift items, puppets and other children's toys, all with an educational message about Mesa Verde National Park. Proceeds from all purchases support education and research in Mesa Verde National Park.
