Mill Creek BLM Campground
The Mill Creek Campground is located along the Alpine Loop Scenic Byway between Lake City and Cinnamon Pass. This BLM managed campground has sites to accommodate both RV’s and tents. Amenities include restrooms, dumpsters, water, and bear proof food storage. Two sites at the camground are ADA accessible as well as the restrooms. The Lake Fork of the Gunnison River runs along the campground and provides a beautiful setting as well as excellent fishing.

Joe Warren wrote on April 29, 2012: This is our favorite campground in Colorado. We go in early June and in late August. Once we went in July, it was crowded and noisy due to ATV traffic. It's a short drive to Lake City.
