Muley Point Overlook
Muley Point Overlook is located off Utah Highway 261 at the top of Moki Dugway on Cedar Mesa. At the top of the dugway a five-mile native surfacee track leads southwest to Muley Point, with extensive, sweeping views south and to the desert beyond. Dispersed primitive camping is allowed but no services are available.
Muley Point is not accessible to the physically challenged unless they are outdoor enthusiasts used to traversing difficult and demanding terrain.
BLM regulations regarding pets apply and visitors are asked to clean up after them in order to insure a positive experience for those following them. 100 degrees Farenheit in summer months below freezing temperature in the winter plus precipitous cliffs preclude safely allowing pets to run free at Muley Point. Care is recommended if traveling with pets.
