Placerville at the Crossroads

The Town of Placerville is located at the crossroads of the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway and the Unaweep Tabegauche Scenic Byway at the intersection Colorado Highways 62 and 145. Follow Hwy 145 and the San Juan Skyway east to Placerville and visit the Placerville Park, MM Mercantile, or the nearby Down Valley Park. Follow Hwy 145 and the Unaweep Tabegauche Byway west from Placerville through the San Miguel River Canyon and across high mesa ranching country to the Norwood area. The Norwood Farmers Market takes place Saturday mornings June – Oct at the county fairgrounds also home of the San Miguel Basin Fair and Rodeo, July 17-23.
