In the heart of ponderosa pine country, in the Ramah Navajo community, the Ramah Navajo Weavers Association welcomes you to their hogan, a traditional eight-sided Navajo dwelling.

These weavers maintain their own standards for beautiful rugs and pillows. All are woven with locally grown,handspun, naturally dyed Churro wool. High quality weaving and original designs are their hallmark. Learn firsthand about traditional Navajo wool preparation, handspinning, and weaving, time-honored processes for the expression of individual creativity and Diné identity.

The Ramah Navajo Weavers Association was the first cooperative of its kind to enhance land-based livelihoods through a focus on traditional weaving. For more than 20 years, the Ramah weavers have worked through a community process aimed at rebuilding Churro flocks, encouraging fine spinning, expanding natural dye colors, and setting high standards for weaving.

From Gallup, south on SR 602 for 29 miles. East on SR 53 about 20 miles. Turn south onto BIA Rte. 125. Go 12 miles to Pine Hill.

From Grants, south on Highway 53 for 44 miles. Turn south onto BIA Rte. 125. Go 12 miles to Pine Hill.

Upon entering Pinehill, Turn left to Ramah Navajo School Board, Inc. complex. Take first right at first road to the RNWA  hogan.
