Constructed in 1893, with a 1902 addition, this is the oldest building in Dolores. The 2 1/2-story building, which took its name from the railroad line, was the first hotel in town. For many years, it was the only hotel in Dolores and the only railroad eating-house between Durango and Telluride. Operated by a group of 5 family/friends who also live on the property.
Restaurant and lobby have wheelchair access, but all guest rooms are on the 2nd floor. There is no access to upstairs.
We attempt to buy local whenever possible and to recycle as possible.
We are pet friendly, with three dogs on property. No extra fee for pets.
