Rio Grande: Taos Box
A world-class one-day whitewater section rated Class 4 plus, which can also be experienced as part of a 2- or 3-day adventure. The nation's oldest Wild & Scenic River, the Rio Grande threads through an 800-foot-deep wilderness canyon of towering basalt walls (alive with eagles, falcons, and bighorn sheep) known as the Taos Box. White-knuckle white water combines with the serenity of the wilderness to create a lifetime of memorable adventures.

The Taos Box is not suitable for the disabled. However, the Orilla Verde section can be rafted by those with limited mobility. Please call or email for details.
