Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort is New Mexico’s fastest growing resort (yet you won’t wait in line for a lift). Both first-time and returning guests alike appreciate the quintessential mountain life found only at Sipapu: a fun, friendly mountain (where your kids won’t get lost, perfect for skiers and boarders of all skill levels); clean, simple accommodations (no cell service, in-room TVs or phones – we believe families should connect with each other, not over their electronics); and the best deals around, which allows everyone to have the family vacation they want at prices they can easily afford.

Sipapu is home to New Mexico’s longest ski season and the best deals in the Rockies. Surrounded by the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Carson National Forest, the resort has over 40 trails, four lifts and two terrain parks. On-site amenities include slope-side lodging, a full-service ski shop, ski school and gourmet home cooking at the Riverside Café.

Lodging Style and Amenities

Sipapu offers a variety of slope-side accommodations to please every group style and size. Our quiet and comfortable lodging options include cabins, suites, duplexes, apartments, lodge rooms and more. Many of our units include fireplaces and kitchens.

Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort offers the perfect blend of quiet, laid-back style and ongoing, family-friendly events. So, whether you’re looking to curl up by the fire for an afternoon of reading, or hoping to score a prize in one of our many competitions, Sipapu is the place to be all year long.

We also offer New Mexico’s best riverside dining experience at the Riverside Café. Located in the heart of Sipapu Lodge at the base of our mountain, the River Café offers an eclectic menu, featuring only the freshest ingredients. Plus, the adjacent lounge has a huge assortment of top-shelf liquors, beers and local drafts.

Seasons Open: Year-round
