Mount Sneffles Wilderness
 

The Mount Sneffles Wilderness encompasses 16,565 acres of scenic beauty, rugged mountian peaks and high country lakes. Mount Sneffles, at 14,150 feet above sea level, dominates the landscape. It was designated as wilderness in 1980.

Recreational Opportunities

Mountaineering, photography, a 13 mile Highline hiking trail, climbing, backcountry skiing, fishing, and backpacking.
