See the best of Santa Fe, north central New Mexico, and the Great American Southwest!

Southwest Safaris’ exciting, scenic, air/land expeditions explore the legendary landscapes of New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona.  Air tours range in length from 30 minutes to a full day. These unique airtreks reveal the natural beauty surrounding the City Different; highlight the charm of the Land of Enchantment; and traverse the treasures of the Four Corners Region’s largely inaccessible outback.  From Santa Fe, NM, take off on an aerial odyssey over terrain of unspeakable wonder.  Soar over landforms of the Southwest with the freedom of an eagle.  Explore Grand Country, Indian Lands, and lost cities of the Ancients; cruise over deep gorges, roaring canyons, painted deserts, 12,000-foot mountains, and MORE!

Numerous itineraries are available, emphasizing vast expanses of awe-inspiring grandeur ... explored by aircraft, backcountry vehicle, and foot.

Behold the Southwest’s majesty: sculpted monuments, colorful mesas, mysterious deserts, breathtaking cliffs, and snow-capped peaks.  Discover panoramic Santa Fe and surrounding mountains, canyons, volcanoes, and high desert.  Enjoy New Mexico’s exhilarating geography, including the Rio Grande’s gorges, Pueblo ruins, Abiquiu Basin, Georgia O’Keeffe Country, Jemez/Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Bisti Badlands, and Chaco Canyon.  See Arizona’s Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, and Painted Desert.  Skytrek across Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, Mesa Verde, thundering ravines, and western frontiers. Photograph Utah’s Arches, Canyonlands, moonscapes, and rivers.  Admire Navajo, Hopi, Apache, and Pueblo Indian Reservations plus remote Anasazi cliff dwellings.

Spectacular scenic flying - jeeping - photography. All tours emphasize geology, archaeology, and natural history -- a fascinating interpretation of the evolution of the Southwest.  Witness 800 million years pass beneath the wing. A complete edventure!

Tour members travel in the comfort and safety of special safari aircraft.  On selected skylarks, customized ground transportation expands the expedition.  Every airplane passenger has a window seat and a headset/microphone for two-way communication with the pilot/guide.  Air safaris to Monument Valley and Canyon de Chelly feature Navajo-guided ground exploration.

Southwest Safaris’ skyventures reveal the pristine splendor of New Mexico and the Four Corners Region without leaving a trace of ever having been there.  Aerial adventures leave no tire tracks or footprints, collecting only unforgettable memories of untouched wilderness.  These value-added ecodiscovery tours save time, gas, pollution, meal expenses, and lodging costs by eliminating weeks of driving.

All action-packed sky safaris offer incomparable return on total travel investment.  Each air odyssey, long or short, produces interactive, colorful, kaleidoscopic impressions of a world-famous geographic fantasia.  Each is a once-in-a-lifetime journey.
