Located at the ski resort of Red River , the Sundance is a family owned restaurant that has been operating  for 37 years. John and Linda, orginally from Virginia, purchased the restaurant after moving to Red River. First they ran the tip restaurant at the top of the ski area before settling at the Sundance. Now their daughter and son-in-law have begun taking over the business. The Sundance focuses on made-from scratch food and homemade sauces and soups in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. They serve mostly Mexican food but have a variety of steaks, seafood and salads and margaritas made from Agave wine along with a great beer selection. Large portions and chips and salsa are sure to staisfy any hunger. And save extra room for the homemade sopapillas that are large and fluffy and served with honey and honey butter, made in house. Located on the back street, they are a little hard to find but worth it. So come and relax after a long day of skiing or hiking with a margarita and delicious food!

Hours Open: Dinner 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Open for lunch during the summer

Seasons Open: Only closed in April and the first three weeks in November
