Taos area artists open their studios to the public. Experience the real working artists of Taos! The art ranges from traditional to contemporary representing most mediums. Meet the artists of this world famous artist colony. Workshops available by appointment with an artist. This event begins with an opening reception and meet the artist evening. It is followed by the open studios. A special bonus is that you are welcomed into the beautiful artists homes in the Taos area. Many homes are adobe, environmentally friendly and creatively built.

How to Participate

Follow the TAO Studio Tour map to studio locations of your choice. The maps are available around town and are mailed to other areas. They are available 1-2 months prior to the event. Dates and Times

The Taos Studio Tour occurs Labor Day weekend, every year. The studios are open from 10am-5pm. Refer to the Studio Tour Map for more details.
