The Taos Diner is locally owned and operated by the Powell Family. We pride ourselves in providing customers with fresh food, good prices, and a huge variety of delicious meal choices. Our homemade, gluten free, red and green chili dishes are among the best in New Mexico. Diners can also choose from a variety of fresh  homemade salads, Benedict plates, and even our half pound burgers made with locally raised, grass-fed, and grass finished beef. Our patrons don't just come for our food. The Taos Diner is known throughout the Taos community as being a family-friendly establishment suitable for all occasions. Taos Diner is locally owned by the Powell family. Annie and Jay Powell both grew up in Taos. Together with their two boys, Nicolas and Greyson, they strive to bring the Taos community home cooked food at reasonable prices. Come and enjoy the comfortable atmosphere and relaxed family dining at either location. The staff are friendly and entertaining and make Taos Diner the locals place to be.

One of our goals at the Taos Diner is to be as Eco-Friendly as possible. In addition to recycling all cardboard, glass, and aluminum products, we also donate all of our used cooking oils to make Bio Fuel. We believe in using as much locally raised, grown and produced foods as possible. The Half Moon Cattle Co, a local family ranch, provides us with grass fed and finished beef. All our potatoes, red chile, and green chile are grown in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. We also offer organic free range eggs, free range chicken, organic fair trade coffees and locally grown vegatables.
