The Albuquerque Museum of Art and History is a municipal museum whose mission is to be a leading institution for art, history and culture in the Southwest. To that end, it maintains a rich collection, presents interesting exhibitions and provides engaging educational programs for a diverse audience. The Museum’s regional art collection focuses on the American Southwest, its history and photoarchive collections primarily relate to the life and culture of Albuquerque and the middle Rio Grande Valley. The Museum curates and produces changing exhibitions on relevant artistic and historical themes throughout the year and maintains a permanent exhibition tracing Albuquerque’s history and New Mexico’s art. In addition, it hosts a wide variety of national and international traveling exhibitions.

Seasons Open: Year round

Hours Open: 9am-5pm

Fees: $4 Adults ($1 discount to NM residents w/ ID), $2 Seniors (65+), $1 Children 4-12. Children 3 and under are free. Members free.
