The Black Hole of Los Alamos, a recycler of "nuclear waste," has the world's most diverse stock of used scientific equipment, electronics, lab supplies, nuclear by-products, surplus items and materials. We have over 17,000 square feet of pre-owned test equipment and laboratory supplies. The Black Hole has provided materials to over 500 Universities and Research Institutions around the world as well as technical props for 8 major motion pictures.

By virtue of its location in the community of Los Alamos, New Mexico, historical birthplace of the first nuclear weapons, The Black Hole has aquired status as a tourist attraction (see Frommers, Wikitravel, The Easy Traveler, etc.) alternative to the official museums in town. We do have some historical items on display and welcome visitors from around the world as our guest book attests. Some special visitors that did not sign in (but we have the news clippings to prove they were here) include the Secret Service and the FBI. We'd love to talk with you!

Seasons Open: Open 10 AM - 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday, Monday and US Holidays.
