I specialize in custom design pine furniture in my version of Taos Shaker style. My simple, functional, elegant pieces reflect the spiritual ethos of the Shakers, which is that you find God in creating a functional, peaceful habitat. The Shakers were known for their unique use of paint colors in their manufacturing. I blend paint and stains to create a gentle combination of color and wood grain. My furniture blends very well with traditional, contemporary and antique styles.

Most of my work is commission work. The fun of that is that one gets to co-create the piece of furniture with the client. And then the clients also get exactly what they want, as the collaboration of the design is a hands-on, functional work. I work alone and as a result I am able to keep my prices affordable.

I have lived in the Questa area for 20 years. There have always been many wood workers in Northern NM reflecting different styles of furniture. I continue that tradition with the use of stains and colors that gives my furniture its distinctive style. I have been in business in Questa for eighteen years. I am a member of the local chamber of commerce. I support local charities and love being a contributing citizen and business owner in the village.
