The "Peace of Art Cafe" is a  unique "Cordwood and Bottle"addition to a restored turn of the century old adobe structure, the vintage  adobe is better known as the "Organic Peddler", a quaint All Natural grocery store that was totally renovated and opened in 2000.Then in Aug. of 2005 the "Peace of Art Cafe" was finished and opened it's doors. If the wonderful organic homemade menu doesn't lure you in, the amazing architecture will! Dinning here you feel as if you're in a kaleidoscope, with all the light cascading  through the colorful recycled bottles planted in the 16" walls, The "Peace of Art Cafe" is a Fun, Funky work of Art, filled with handmade creations done locally and from around the world! Locals and  travelers alike enjoy this  welcomed stop, where one can enjoy a organic espresso or fresh carrot ginger juice with a gluten free (if desired) homemade Veggie burger while using the wireless internet.. Dine inside or out in the beautiful courtyard (Beer Garden) during the warmer weather. Featuring local, fresh, organic produce, eggs and meats when possible. Too tired to go on? Yes, we have a brand new Beautiful dog walk that meanders along a creek with a sitting bench for customers to rest while Fido streches his legs. Pets are also allowed in the Courtyard if they are on a leash.

The building itself is built from standing dead cottonwood and recycled wine and beer bottles. The wood in the interior was all recycled from a falling down old barn. The sink in the restroom was made out of a old vanity and all the electric lighting was scavenged from local antique stores and at auctions. We buy and support local whenever possible. We only buy organic produce and do our best to buy all else organic when it's available. We try to operate on a zero waste policy, which means catching produce before it spoils and giving it a second life in a wonderful nutricious soup! No styra foam here, bring in your own mug and save .25 on your drink. ToGo food is sent in a eco-friendly brown paper kraft box. We also just built a sweet dog walk  for our customers that may be in need.
