The Springs Resort and Spa

The Springs is an bona fide spa, built around The Great Pagosa Hot Springs, the World’s Largest and Deepest Hot Spring. The water coming from the mother spring is approximately 144 degrees Fahrenheit. The actual soaking pools, though man-made, draw inspiration from nature and are constructed to be as natural as possible. The 23 soaking pools are a variety of sizes and temperatures located along the banks of the San Juan River in downtown Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
The naturally occuring mineral water is comprised of: Sodium, potassium, magnesium, silica, chloride, fluoride, iron, arsenic, boron, lithium, manganese, sulfate and zinc.

Recreational Opportunities

The naturally occurring hot spring water is channelled through 23 outdoor soaking tubs as well as a swimming pool. These picturesque tubs are located on the banks of the San Juan River in Downtown Pagosa Springs. Visitors are welcome to "cool off" in the river during their soaking experience. Additional activities ranging from "swim-in movies" to live music create a one of a kind recreational experience for adults and children alike.

My husband and I recently spent a few days as guests and were very impressed with not only the beauty of the resort and surroundings but also with the amazing staff! From the front desk to the concierge to the spa therapists! Everyone was so welcoming and wonderful. We are planning to make this a yearly excursion, at minimum!
