The Wildcat's Den Restaurant, Questa New Mexico
We are the longest operating family-owned restaurant in Questa, New Mexico. We specialize in GOOD food at GREAT prices, since 1980. Our burger, fries and soda special for only $5.25 is an exceptional deal and our goal is to provide a clean and comfortable dining experience. Come on in and enjoy all your fast-food favorites; as well as, local New Mexican dishes and soft-serve ice cream treats.
Our food is prepared when ordered and our green chile is grown in New Mexico and definitely has a "bite." Our red chile is made from a long standing family recipe, made with New Mexico chile powder and is sure to please; especially when ordered on a smothered buritto or a frito-pie. Our homemade salsa is a local favorite, whose recipe remains unchanged for 30 years. Our burgers are 100% beef and our half-pound Supercat is a meal in itself; but if you'd like, make it a double and you're sure not to leave hungry. In fact, all of our dishes are ample and satisfying.
If you have a sweet tooth, you've come to the right place. We feature shakes, floats, frosties, sundaes and banana splits. Our ice cream treats are all prepared when ordered and are made with our creamy soft-serve ice cream and topped with all your favorite toppings. Our banana splits are not to be missed.
In short, come and dine where the locals dine. You won't be disappointed!

Family-owned and operated since 1980! Started in June of 1980, we have been going strong since. Our Parents named the local eatery after the local high school mascot, "The Wildcat" and trademarked the name "The Wildcat's Den" soon after. We are a favorite hang-out for students and teachers alike. We love to participate in local events like the Homecoming parade, Questa Fiestas and Christmas decorating contests. We are also happy to support and contribute to many local charities and fundraising events.
We are very proud of the 25th Anniversary and 30th Anniversary articles in the Taos News and we have posted the articles for you to enjoy.
There is a ramp directly to our front door.
We use many New Mexico products and 100% beef patties.
Certified service animals welcome. We love all animals and wish our four-legged friends could dine with you. However, we have a nice landscaped area where you can walk your dog and we are always willing to provide a fresh bowl of water to our four-legged pals; just ask. Not an off-leash area. Coming, Summer 2011, picnic benches outside so you can dine with your pooches!
