Tierra Sagrada Pottery
Located below the Stations of the Cross Shrine in San Luis, Colorado, local potter and sculptor Kent Anderson has crafted pottery from locally mined and processed micaceous clay. The pieces are wheel thrown and decorated with glaze-stippled Native American designs. Each piece of work is a one-of-a-kind original.
Kent also produces stoneware pottery, many of which are decorated with Native American designs. His work is also on display and available at the Ventero Open Press coffee shop and gallery on Main Street in San Luis and at the Fort Garland Museum gift shop in Fort Garland, Colorado.
