Where the Old West meets the New

Visit Local art galleries. Witness a real cattle drive. Use Mancos as a base camp for visiting local archeological sites including Hovenweep National Monument, and Mesa Verde National Park - a World Heritage Site. Take a September balloon ride during the Balloon Festival. See the colors change in one of the largest US Aspen forests. Make a replica of an Anasazi pot in the Painted Turtle Community Art Studio.
