109 N. Allen is rich in downtown Farmington history.  Once the site of a livery stable, the current building has been home to the Blue Spruce Restarurant (circa 50's) - long before there were cell phones, email and text messages - the Blue Spruce was the place to go to find out what was happening in Farmington and neighboring areas.   109 N. Allen has also housed a gunsmith, clock repair, beauty parlor, furniture store, oriental import store, and the  infamous Eclectic - scene of a double murder.

It is now home of theTRWC Art Center.  The Art Center provides workshops, classes, and outreach in related business practices and creative art to members, other organizations, and the community at large.  The Art Center includes a library and classroom, and houses "In Cahoots!"  gallery in which members benefit from the opportunity to sell original works, gaining firsthand retail business experience in a  professional gallery setting.

Membership is open to anyone wishing to support TRWC's mission, vision and goals.   TRWC provides a supportive environment, encouraging artists in both their artistic and business endeavors.  Through meetings and classes, artists have the opportunity to explore other media, share their expertise, and learn basic business practices to help ensure their individual success.

The gallery  houses a diverse array of locally made works, from unique fiber arts, jewelry,
and photography to intricate beading and yard art.
TRWC is a public charity under 509(a)(2), and a tax exempt organization under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Contributions to TRWC are tax deductible under Section 170 of the Code.
