World Heritage 25th Anniversary at Aztec Ruins

Description of Event

Aztec Ruins is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its UNESCO World Heritage designation with a day-long event.  National Geographic Fellow Jonathan Tourtellot (an early proponent of the Geotourism philosophy and international World Heritage expert!) is giving a presentation at 6:00pm.  The monument has beautiful commemorative coins to give away, and there will be a unique World Heritage junior ranger badge for children.  A documentary video and cartoons about World Heritage will show all day in the visitor center.  Please join us in celebrating the global honor and protection of World Heritage.
